'Dragon Ball Z®: Infinite World' Brings Best of Dragon Ball Z Universe to Playstation®2 Computer Entertainment System
-
Final Dragon Ball Z Game for PlayStation 2 System Combines the Greatest
Elements from the World-renowned Dragon Ball Z TV Series and Video
Games -
NEW YORK, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- It's time
for one final mighty Kamehameha for the PlayStation® 2 computer
entertainment system as Atari announces the upcoming North American
launch of NAMCO BANDAI Games' Dragon Ball Z®: Infinite World in
November. Developed by NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc., Dragon Ball Z: Infinite
World combines all the best elements of previous Dragon Ball Z games,
whilst also boasting new features such as "Dragon Missions", new battle
types and drama scenes for fans to delve deeper than ever before into
the Dragon Ball Z® universe.
The new "Dragon Missions" in Dragon
Ball Z: Infinite World include many famous scenes from the Dragon Ball
Z series never before seen in a video game. A range of missions from
time attack in the "Snake Road Mission" alongside other action and
racing-style missions puts players' strategy and quick-thinking skills
to the test beyond simply showing off their deadly fighting skills.
But
no Dragon Ball Z game would be complete without its fair share of
spectacular battles. Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World uses a simplified
battle system taken from the recently released next-gen Dragon Ball Z:
Burst Limit for thrilling hand-to-hand fighting on the ground, or
flying leaps and aerial combat in the skies. Defeat your opponent by
blasting damaging Ki attacks from the sky or by diving into him and
launching an explosive smash attack.
The game features over 40
unique characters, not counting the different forms that each character
can transform into which multiplies the playing potential. On top of
characters, fighting techniques and battle stages, Dragon Ball Z:
Infinite World also includes selected drama scenes from the previous
games all presented using beautifully refined effects and shading
techniques.
Representing the last "Z" title for the PlayStation
2 system, Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World combines the many of the best
elements from the previous Budokai and Shin-Budokai series, as well as
the recently released and much-admired next-gen Dragon Ball Z: Burst
Limit, to deliver the definitive DBZ experience on PlayStation 2 system.
The
immensely popular Dragon Ball Z® series is the gold standard of
anime-based video games, with more than 30 different games and over
12.7 million units sold since May 2002.

Comic-Con Days 2 & 3

This post is going to sound a lot like a blog so I hate to do it but I want to share the Comic-Con with those of you who are unable to go.
In the last two days, I got to experience a lot of great things, meet a lot of great people, and see lots of great new stuff. I got to meet a lot of my idols including Marc Silvestri, Danny Luvisi, Pedro Delgado, Stjepan Sejic, Seth Green and probably a few more that I forgot. It was really amazing to actually see these people and have a real conversation with each and every one of them even with people as big as Seth Green. They all were very humble (Marc was actually a bit of a "rock star") and this really makes me want to get into the business they're in. Seeing them so happy to meet and talk to the fans (not in a gross slobberying fan boy manner) makes you realize that these people really are great.
I went to see some great panels as well. The entire Futurama cast was there to talk about there show and make us all laugh and most of the production staff of the Simpsons was there as well assuring us that both series would last as long as the fans kept watching and wanting more. Top Cow had a great panel today as well and today they officially announced the upcoming Magdolena live action movie and a Berserker live action movie. Luke Goss(Blade II and Hellboy II) and Jenna Dewan will be staring in the Magdolena film and Milo Ventimiglia will be starring in Berserker. Not much info was given about the two movie except that the stars were very excited about it.
Unfortunately, no news on the upcoming Dragonball movie tho :(
This is my fourth year at the Comic-Con and definitely won't be my last. All that I can say is you really have to go and experience it yourself. Anyone who like ANYTHING will enjoy the con so get out there and go. I am tired and want to go through all the cool stuff I got so I will leave you with that.

Comic-Con Day 1

The first day of comic con is now over (not including preview night). It was quite a day with a lot of exciting things going on.
While there, I was able to demo Street Fighter IV where they had to pry me away from the kiosk. I also got an up close look at Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for all three gaming systems and that is definitely going to deliver through the new euphoria engine.
There was a lot going on with anime today as well. I attended the Afro Samurai panel which had its creator speaking along with a couple cast members including the all-mighty Samuel L. Jackson. The premiere trailer of the afro samurai sequal was shown which is going to take the form of a movie that takes place several years after the series. They also demo'd the Afro Samurai game which follows the series. Everything there was quite impressive and I am really looking forward to continuing the story with Afro Samurai: Ressurection.
That's all of what happened today aside from visiting the other vendors and buying great comics. I have been looking out for Draonball movie news but so far there was none to be found.
